Currently, 1,295,934 voters are eligible to vote in the upcoming election. “April 7 is the last day to register to vote for the upcoming May election in which 44 entities including MUDs and ISDs such as Aldine ISD, Alief ISD, Channelview ISD, Galena Park ISD, and Katy ISD are conducting elections,” said Bettencourt. “Nearly 1.3 million voters can go to the polls, so it’s your last chance to join them. Take the first step in making your voice heard in your neighborhood; register to vote.” Voter Registration Applications must be postmarked by midnight Thursday or delivered to any Tax Office location by 4:45 p.m., the end of the business day on April 7, 2005.
